@@@@@@@@@@@@

My alcohol tolerance is pretty bad, so I am trying to make this blog entry while controlling the urge to puke. ANyway, last night went out for dinner near TP with Donovan, Joann, Jonathan, Jun wen, Jing wu and Jie Jun. You can see Donovan using his psychic powers ^^

Headed down to katong for karaoke after that. Wasn't told about their karaoke plans only after the lecture on the way to makan. Decided to tag along since the day didn't feel complete. It's the only day in the week where we have a night lecture and I arrive at school seeing people leaving it. After singing, we went to Jie Jun's place to sleep. I was still planning to go for lesson the next day but didn't stop myself from drinking.

Jie Jun has this super cool hoodie that is XXXL size. Lol.
You can zip it all the way to the top lol. You can try reading the manga thats on it, but the panels are not in order. Donovan here already gone to lalaland at ard 3am? i think.

Lots of drinks including an exotic snake scorpion concoction which I don't have a photo of ):
1st drink on the left: Starry Night, orange tasting cocktail thats really sweet
..and I won't mention about the other 2...

Tried taking some photos when I still had some consciousness...
The guy that suffered the least....

Jie Jun:

The rest of the photos are just plain black. Must have tried taking those photos when I was drunk in the darkness.. = =

Dragonball?!

lol. Shared a bottle of orange brown hair dye with dominic yesterday. The dye must have made me go crazy and took this photos on impulse. Played mahjong the wholeeeee day! and still cannot play at least 1 match(4 feng).
And this is Jaden's 13 terminals the day before:

I find it more fun to play higher tai nowadays, cause always got someone end the game early when you have such a nice hand... Have also been ambitious nowadays and always aiming for at least 4-5tai. Haha, and now I really feel like playing with Horace mahjong to see how much I improved.

Today is the 2nd week since I learned mahjong. Mahjong is so fun and addictive, and also beneficial for the brain! I don't understand why some parents are so against mahjong and such pessimist about it. Mahjong does not necessarily mean hardcore  gambling, and that applies to poker cards too.

Playing with my cousin, Zhenjie has also been mind blogging. Is he malay, chinese, Japanese or english? Cos the way he declares the tiles when he play is like: four dots. and the next thing you know its si dong. and another moment its, 'four dong'.
After awhile you may find youself being infected by him, and start playing in mixed languages.
I can see Zhenjie in the future speaking like:
Konnichiwa, long time no see, jiak pa buay? Wo xiang chi sushi desu.
Let's head to sakae :3

Anyway, I just collected 2 nendoroids to add to my collection. Unsealed the boxes and checked the contents already just to be on the safe side as usual. Never thought of selling any of my nendoroids before. So I unsealing them does not bother me at all.

This time, the nendos were easy to assemble. +1 to Goodsmile company :)
Buying Kokonoe Rin was just a random craving, I need to stop giving in to my random spurs...
I don't regret ordering it, but I don't feel like having it impacts me much. Personally I think my Kotobukiya Belldandy is still one of my favourites, and having it for about a year already, I don't get bored seeing it. What I look for when I purchase figures are the longevity of the impression that it gives. It's like my desktop wallpaper that I used for 6months without getting bored and bothering to change.

Extra long post this week for my lack of updates :)
Not that my schedule is really busy but I always seem pre-occupied with games or friends. A little motivation for me to blog is Zhenjie who is in the police force serving national service. lol. Hope this kills some of the boredom at work.

P.S. I will start elementary 2 Japanese and wait for Zhen jie at Intermediate Level.

kouhai -> sempai

Sianz... Its back to TP for a new semester coming monday. I don't find much of a difference whether it is holidays or not when I am in poly so... =s

Anyway I just completed my elementary level 1 Japanese today just right before the vacation is over. I will still pursue Japanese while schooling and learn katakana! Honestly the workload is very manageable, just requires regular practice which I can do while traveling or during breaks.

Didn't get a "proper" job during this vacation but decided to find some temporary work to get some cash. A friend introduced me this job and it also seemed like fun doing a stunt like this together. I even pulled zy aka worshishen along.

Somehow he got the role of the baddie which totally doesn't suit his image. Some people just can't look fierce/angry/pissed and his one of those kinds of people. He needs to use his hand to manually move his facial muscles. Thats amazing.

Click the link and take a look for youself.

You can see part of my body in one of the photos, fortunately not my face included.
I think i spent my entire last week of my vacation since I learned mahjong, playing it. Do let me know if you want to play too or if you need an extra player (:

Some photos I wanted to post but too busy/lazy/tired over the past 2 days...

Sad Mahjong

I just learned mahjong recently, so we decided to have a mahjong session at my place today. Turns out that the "confirmed" people that were coming ended up not coming. Eventhough they were informed in advance of 4days.(eg: XXXX Chiam) Hehe. So we were bored and build a temple/tombstone/chicken coop. Whichever you prefer.

Heres a flower made of chips to offer to the ones that didn't turn up:

Anyway we manage to get reliable backup players! Although the 2 cinderellas left before midnight... =/ And their last bus turn into a pumpkin... =x

Here is one of the cinderella's from hell... Dominic..
Very fearsome player indeed.

Another cinderella who claims his not an otaku but has a admirable collection of figurines worth..around $800/+ wtf.. =O

So after midnight fell, it was 1 vs 1 mahjong till 4.30am where I'm blogging this now. Play ady, like damn no life. 1v1 so long...

Anyway today's Jap lesson learnt about using words "shitteimasuka", "Do you know?".
So we were asked questions like, "Kimura Takuya wa shittemasuka". Shockingly only 2 person in the whole class know. And if you are reading this and you don't know, recall the gatsby advertisement.

And lastly, something nasty i digged from Jaden's camera..

Viewer's discretion to be advised..

Zy is borned

Went to the gym today since Dominic suggested this before departing for Japan. We're no longer considered students and need to pay $2.50 to use it... = ="
So after an hour and a half of exercise we head to Bugis instead of Orchard to watch "The Unborn". On the way to the MRT we saw this golden 7-11 sign! The prices inside also golden!

Zhenyi's last meal.
So having reached Bugis, went to the food junction for lunch. I forgotten that I told
"zhenyi aka' worshishen alias' gheeman" to meet at Bugis Iluma entrance. So he called, and I told him to wait there unless he wants to come and find us. He has a really bad sense of direction and gets lost easily so I told him that for his own good.

He replied me, "Wah lau, you expect me to stand here wait for you all!" or something like that. So I obvious gave him the other option to find us, at lv3 food junction; Bugis Junction. Again, he gave another fcuked reply, "Wah lau, need cross the road!! mumble mumble...&$@*^*%#(%". Both options also got something to complain and he was telling me yesterday he walked alot and don't wish to walk today.

You know what is the distance he walked? Hougang to Punggol. He didn't say Hougang of course, instead, "abagong*@%8&*%#".  Ya, so anyway he found his way fortunately, if not we need to go find a potato in a haystack.

And the last photo, I caption it "Sapo food buay paiseh".

ねられない!!

Singapore is starting to be more like Japan. More Japanese boutiques, restaurants and arcade games( UFO catcher.. ) Japan Fever. My friend, Dominic just got back from Tokyo and suddenly tells me he wants to learn Japanese and live in Japan.

So anyway today I went to Bugis Iluma for a job interview at the place where Horace works. So after that, asked what time Horace finished his shift so we can catch a movie along with Dominic and Jaden. since its $6 only.. And he replied, "I dismiss at 5".

Normally people say I knock off at [certain time] or I finish my shift at 5. 'Dismiss' has this secondary school feeling to it lol, maybe Horace already started missing his Poly life. So I asked him how long is his recess lunch break. Colleagues -> Classmates. Manager -> Principal.

The arcade at Iluma also just opened so I had my chance to play street fighter unlike other arcades. Oh, and the staff working there also cosplay if I saw correctly. There was a costume hanged at the counter.

Iluma

Went to Bugis today to check out the new shopping center, Iluma. Some shops are already open, the walking path is spacious. Love the lights on the pillars and the overall urban design. The cinema is open already and from now till the 10th of this month regardless of the time and day of the week, tickets are at $6 ONLY. The arcade is not opened yet. You can see them setting up the machines if you go now. I remember seeing 10 SFIV machines, lots of nice arcade fighters(blazblue, gundam, ...), rewarding UFO catchers(Tamiya cars, naruto plushies..). Very promising arcade.

But the toilet sucks sia. SO new building, SO fast dirty liao. And it took me awhile to locate where the toilet was. Its actually at the lift lobby behind a black door next to a black wall. -__-"
